Elderflower Mimosa ๐ธ
I told yโall I was going to share another Elderflower liqueur cocktail because I just love the flavor!!! ๐ If you are hosting Easter brunch this weekend this would be a perfect cocktail to serve ๐ฃ I mean itโs good anytime but it has all of the feels of spring & brunch IMO. Flowery flavor, bubbly, & lemon make it very festive ๐ฐ Just beware, they are on the strong side ๐ฅด
So hereโs whatcha need:
๐ฅ Elderflower Liqueur (St. Germain)- 1-1.5oz (the more the sweeter bc St. Germain is relatively sweet)
๐ฅ Gin OR vodka (I use Gin & Hendrick โs to be more specific)- 1.5oz
๐ฅ Freshly squeezed lemon juice- ~1oz which is about 2 lemons using a hand juicer
๐ฅ Prosecco- you will top your glass off with this
๐ฅ Ice for shaker
Directions: Put ice in cocktail shaker. Pour St. Germain, gin or vodka & lemon juice in the shaker. Then shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is cold. Strain into your champagne glass. Then top with Prosecco. Enjoy!! ๐ฅ
